Big Valley Travel trips

Big Valley Travel Club is offering the following day trips and overnighters in the coming months:

• Cruise on the USS Potomac for the Fleet Week events Oct. 7-8

• Spend two nights each in Solvang and Santa Barbara on Nov. 7-11.

Day trips include:

"Dirty Rotten Scoundrels," musical comedy at Roger Rocka's in Fresno on Sept. 23, $85 includes pistachio/dried fruit tasting and an all-you-can-eat brunch before the 1:30 p.m. matinee.

• "Bingo," musical comedy at the Cosmopolitan Cabaret in Sacramento, Oct. 13 at2 p.m., $65

• Apple Hill east of Placerville, Oct. 21, $60

• Fall colors in Yosemite valley, Oct. 27, $60

• "Richard III" starring Kevin Spacey at the Curran Theater inSan Francisco, $110 and $145

• A day by the bay,Nov. 15, to do as you please.

Future overseas trips include:

• New Zealand, Feb. 9-March 6, $4,995

• The South of France during lavender season, June 17-July 4, Visit Provence, the Dordogne, and the Riviera for $3,895

The above two trips are small groups, slow paced, with flexible itinerary.
