Railroad work to close Turlock intersections

July 30, 2011

Two of Turlock’s busy downtown intersections will be closed as Union Pacific works on its railroad crossings.

The work will shut down Main Street and Olive Avenue at the crossings from Tuesday through Thursday, Development Services Director Mike Pitcock said.

Traffic will be detoured to Marshall Street and Canal Drive, respectively. Pitcock said city employees have been notifying businesses of the closure.
