Columbia college reception to welcome new president

Columbia College President Dennis Gervin will be on hand to meet the community from 5-7 p.m. Aug. 17 at the college's Manzanita Building community education room.

The welcome reception is sponsored by the Columbia College Foundation.

Gervin began July 1 after a June appointment by the Yosemite Community College District Board. He was Columbia's vice president of student learning and also spent 10 years as teacher or administrator at Modesto Junior College.
