WHAT TO DO: Watch the Budweiser Clydesdales parade at 5:45 p.m., then visit the horses in their stables until 10 p.m. Theyre also open for visitors before the parade, between noon and 5:45 p.m. Or head over to the truck and tractor pulls at the arena. The arena show tickets are $6 to $12. For seniors, take advantage of the free admission and then stop in at the 55-Plus relaxation station.
VARIETY FREE STAGE: Boyz II Men, 8:30 p.m.
CENTER STAGE: Pinky Rideau & Blind Resistance, 5:30 p.m., The Blues Box Bayou Band, 8 p.m.
COMMUNITY STAGE: Merafuentes Academy of Martial Arts, 3, 4:30 and 6 p.m.; Funstrummers Ukelele Band, 7 p.m.
CHARTER STAGE: Jest In Time circus, 3:30, 5:30 and 8:30 p.m.; Steve Bayner hypnotist show, 7 and 10 p.m.
HOURS: Gates open at noon; exhibit buildings close at 11 p.m.; carnival closes at 1 a.m.
PARK N RIDE: 4:30 p.m.-midnight; park and ride free from CSU, Stanislaus (Crowell Road off Monte Vista Avenue), or Pitman High School (Christoffersen Parkway). Shuttles run every 15-20 minutes starting at 11:30 a.m. on weekends.
WHERE: From Highway 99, exit at Fulkerth Road in Turlock and head east. For fairgrounds parking, turn right on Soderquist Road, or go past Soderquist for more parking; $4 per vehicle.
ADMISSION: $12 for adults, $5 for children ages 7 to 12; free for seniors 65 and older and children ages 6 and younger.
