BASEBALL

AAU TOURNAMENT — Stanco Stampede AAU basketball program is proud to present a late summer tournament, the Arrowhead Summer Shootout, to celebrate the Arrowhead Club commitment to helping youth athletics in our area. Held Aug. 6 at Denair High for boys and girls in 4th through 12th grade. Cost is $185 per team. Deadline to register is July 30. Three-game minimum, first-place awards. BEL PASSI FALL LEAGUE — We are accepting applications now for our new fall league program for teams 8U, 10U, 12U & 14U. League is 10 games with tournament played Sept. 6 – Oct. 19. CENCAL CAMP — July 25-29 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the CenCal Indoor Training Facility (510 Greger St., Oakdale, 95361). For players ages 8-13. Cost is $225. Each camper will receive a shirt. MODESTO NUTS — Develop skills with the pros! Participants will learn the fundamentals of hitting, pitching, defense, base running, stretching and conditioning. Small groups and player interaction make this three-morning camp a home run. Camp is on July 13, 14, 15 from 9 a.m. to noon. Lunch provided. T-shirts are provided on final day. NORCAL VALLEY — NorCal Valley, formerly CenCal Baseball, will be offering a unique opportunity for players to develop this fall. The focus will be on individual development through repetition and individual needs. Ages 11-13 and eighth grader to high school seniors.
