The totals are numbers of incidents; each student involved is a separate case, but many have repeat offenses. Categories of suspensions and expulsions listed are included in the totals. Rates shown are a ratio of total incidents to school enrollment, not a percentage of students in difficulty. A few students can account for a large portion of incidents. Alternative schools include continuation schools.
