MJC'S Garcia sets lifting records

Modesto Junior College student Will Garcia bench-pressed 342 pounds and set junior and men's open records in the 123-pound class last weekend at the USA Powerlifting Bench Nationals in Virginia.

With that, Garcia should qualify for the U.S. World Team, which competes next year in Austria.
