The Road Dog Cycle racketeering case ended Friday night with two convictions and an acquittal.

After deliberating for half the day Thursday and nearly 12 hours Friday, a federal jury convicted Gary Ermoian and Steven Johnson of conspiracy, making false statements and perjury.

Dave Swanson, who faced the same charges, was acquitted.

"I'd like to thank the jury for their hard work in this case," attorney Robert Forkner, who represented Swanson, said Friday night. "Mr. Swanson has finally been vindicated. He's very happy right now."

The trial began a week ago for the three remaining defendants in the Road Dog Cycle racketeering case.

The main target in the case, Road Dog owner Bob Holloway, pleaded guilty to a single charge in June.

He is set for sentencing next month; as part of his plea agreement, Holloway must give up the Denair cycle shop where the case started.
