Stanislaus County Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of three suspects in the shooting death of 21-year-old Chaz Bettencourt of Riverbank.
Bettencourt was shot Aug. 5 outside a Riverbank am-pm minimarket.
On Wednesday, detectives were looking for Jah-Kari Phyall, 15, of Turlock; Daniel Pantoja, 18, of Riverbank; and Turlock Diaz, 14, of Turlock.
Stanislaus County sheriff's officials say the three are wanted on suspicion of murder, and they should be considered armed and dangerous.
Detectives have received information the suspects possibly are hiding in Redding or Visalia.
The Crime Stoppers hot line has helped capture more than 225 fugitives and has handed out more than $32,000 in reward money.
Sheriff's officials ask anyone with information about the shooting or the suspects' whereabouts to call Detective Jon McQueary at 525-7099 or Crime Stoppers at 521-4636.

Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and are eligible for a reward.
