Name: Michael Bryan Strong, 40

Synopsis: Michael Bryan Strong, a 40-year-old transient, was found at 1:30 a.m. shot to death in the alley behind the Hope Chest thrift store on the 1200 block of McHenry Avenue, between Orangeburg and Roseburg avenues. Lt. Chris Fuzie of the Modesto Police Department said Strong had lived in the area about 15 years.

Motivation: Unknown.

Suspects: None determined.
