Jury trial begins in Road Dog case

Jury selection got under way Wednesday for the three remaining defendants in the Road Dog Cycle racketeering case.

Gary Ermoian, Dave Swanson and Steven Johnson face federal charges of conspiracy, making false statements and perjury.

Opening statements are expected this morning in federal court in Fresno, according to attorney Robert Forkner, who represents Swanson.

The main target in the case, Road Dog owner Bob Holloway, pleaded guilty to a single charge in June.
