A 43-year-old Modesto man was killed while driving his motorcycle when he collided with a woman driving a Honda Accord in east Modesto on Wednesday afternoon.
The man, whom police did not identify because they had not notified his family, was not wearing a helmet that fully covered his head, police Sgt. Rick Armendariz said. He suffered injuries to his head and upper body after hitting the car and the pavement.
He was driving westbound on East Orangeburg Avenue about 4:15 p.m. when his motorcycle hit the Accord at Orangeburg and Oakdale Road.
Police said it's not clear who was at fault in the crash.
The woman in the Accord was driving eastbound on East Orangeburg and preparing to turn left on Oakdale.
