Menu for Sarah Palin visit includes steak, halibut and buckwheat blini

What kind of meal do you get when you spend $500 or more for a ticket to the Sarah Palin fund-raiser at California State University, Stanislaus? An elegant multi-course meal.

The appetizers include buckwheat blini with smoked salmon and lemon cream. There's also lobster Napoleon with herbed garlic cream and red Belgian endive with seafood salad.

The entrees are big on the Alaskan favorite, halibut. One option is filet and halibut, another grilled halibut topped with chipotle fresh fruit salad. There's also grilled a black Angus beef tenderloin with red wine sauce.

Desserts are big on chocolate (souffle, mousse), and the wines are compliments of the E & J Gallo winery of Modesto.
