Central Catholic softball

There was no stopping Allison Lenzora or Central Catholic after the Raiders dropped their first-round game in the NorCal Classic to St. Mary's, a Division 1 school in Stockton. Lenzora and her club went on to win the next three games and earned the consolation championship in the 16-team Gold Bracket with a 2-0 win over Chowchilla.

Lenzora doubled in the first run during the victory over Chowchilla, then tripled and scored the second run. She had a key defensive play to preserve a 3-1 win over Los Banos, sending Central into the consolation title game.

Lenzora is batting .500 for the Raiders and has at least one hit in all but one game. She's also 5-for-6 on stolen-base attempts. The Raiders are in fourth place in the Western Athletic Conference, following narrow losses to perennial conference powers Hilmar, Patterson and Orestimba.
