The Turlock Unified School District board of trustees will meet a little earlier than usual this evening to discuss proposals from employee unions and the rules for using Joe Debely Stadium once it gets a new track and field.

A group of residents sued over the project. One of them said a meeting with district representatives last week to iron out rules of use did not yield satisfactory results.

"They are not working with Turlock citizens and neighbors of the Joe Debely field in any good faith," said Lynn Sarrialle, a member of the Turlock Citizens Coalition.

Closed session begins at 5:15 p.m. Open session is set for 6.

The board meets in the Performing Arts Building at Turlock High School, 1600 E. Canal Drive.
