Waterford seeking football coach

Waterford High lost the only head football coach it has ever known when Dave Hill stepped down.

Hill was named head coach when the school opened nine years ago and he led the Wildcats to the Sac- Joaquin Section playoffs in 2008.

The school has started the interview process and hopes to have a replacement by mid-March.

"We'd like to have an on-campus coach, but we'll have to see if we have teaching openings before making that decision," athletic director Dave Johnson said Tuesday.
