VIDEO: 2-vehicle accident at Claus Rd. and Claribel Rd. in Modesto

A two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Claribel Rd. and Claus Rd. in Modesto caused minor injuries and partially closed down the busy intersection early Sunday afternoon.

According to the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department, a Jeep vehicle traveling northbound on Claus ran a red light at the intersection and t-boned a Honda vehicle that was traveling eastbound on Claribel. The driver of the Jeep and passenger of the Honda were taken by ambulance to an area hospital. Emergency personnel expected to reopen all lanes by mid-afternoon.
