Synopsis:Tomas Botello Corona, 65, died after a fight with his son, Jose Eucebio Corona, 21, at their home at 509 Stein Way in Waterford. The two began fighting in the front portion of their house at about 6:30 p.m. Their struggle ended minutes later, and when deputies arrived, they found the father lying unconscious in the driveway and the son being detained by neighbors across the street. Tomas Corona sustained serious head injuries, and attempts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful.

Motivation:Stanislaus County sheriff's deputy Andrew Winter said investigators haven't determined what caused the fight, adding that the two were fighting before the mother, who was in the back of the house, figured out what was going on.

Suspect: Jose Eucebio Corona, 21, is in the Stanislaus County Jail after being booked on suspicion of homicide. After the fight, he was detained by neighbors before deputies arrived.
