Synopsis: Harinder Sanghera, 28, of Ceres, was shot during the robbery attempt at the Gas N Shop in the 800 block of South Ninth Street, said sheriff's Lt. Mike Parker. Parker said it appeared there were no customers in the store or at the gas pumps when two Latino men walked in shortly before 3:15 p.m. Friday. Witnesses told investigators that two men were seen running south on South Ninth Street after the gunfire.
