What do you do when the psychiatrists are more troubled than the patients?

Christopher Durang's 1981 comedy "Beyond Therapy" follows an offbeat couple who try to start a romantic relationship with the help of their therapists.

Ron Lane is directing a production for Modesto's Prospect Theater Project. Prudence (Laura Dickenson) and Bruce (Josh Bower) meet when Prudence answers Bruce's personal ad seeking a woman to start a family with. It turns out that Bruce has a male live-in lover (Charles Mullins), who isn't particularly happy about this new turn of events.
