YES Company makes music with Seuss

Youth Entertainment Stage Company is presenting ‘Seussical, Jr.’ at Downey High School this week.

The show is a musical adaptation of Dr. Seuss’ book ‘Horton Hears a Who,’ with appearances by The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz and others.

Nearly 90 kids are participating in the shows, which run at 7 p.m. Friday, and Jan. 22-23 and 3 p.m. Saturday and Jan. 24.
