Grant funds Stanislaus County youth arts

Youth Entertainment Stage Company received a $35,000 grant from the Newman's Own Foundation to support the YES Company, YES Kids and YES Kidettes programs.

Sponsored by the Stanislaus County Office of Education and the Education Foundation of Stanislaus County, YES Company provides year-round extracurricular performing arts, career education and prevention-intervention programs for students.

YES Company brings theater to life for students in first through 12th grades, offering comprehensive musical theater experiences and positive lifelong alternatives to potential high-risk behaviors. Newman's Own Foundation donates all net royalties and profits after taxes from the sale of Newman's Own products to charity.
