Hilmar grad earns Pac-10 football honors

Hilmar High graduate and backup Oregon quarterback Nate Costa was named the Pac-10's Special Teams Player of the Week for his clutch recovery and hold of a bouncing snap on the game-tying PAT with six seconds remaining in regulation Saturday when the Ducks beat Arizona 44-41 in double overtime.

Starting quarterback Jeremiah Masoli was the Pac-10's Offensive Player of the Week with six touchdowns, three passing and three rushing.
