Stanislaus men beat American Sports University

The Cal State Stanislaus men's basketball team had five players score in double digits and used a second-half surge to beat American Sports University 96-74 at Warrior Arena.

Matt Ibewiro had 17 points and nine rebounds, plus two blocked shots to lead Stanislaus (2-0).

The Warriors made nine 3-pointers, including three by Jordan Williams, who finished with 11 points.
