EDD holding job fair today

Bring your résumé and a smile to the Modesto Employment Development Department Workforce Winter Job Fair today.

The free, EDD- sponsored event is open to the public. About a dozen employers and organizations will be on hand, including Goodwill, Bebe, F.Y.E. and the Census Bureau.

The event will include informational workshops on interviewing and computer skills. Attendees are encouraged to show up early, dress professionally and bring at least five résumé copies.

The fair runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the downtown Modesto EDD office, 629 12th St. For information, call 576-6118.
