Time to comment on pipeline repair

People interested in maintenance plans on Hetch Hetchy water pipes across the San Joaquin Valley are invited to comment by Monday.

Three giant San Joaquin pipelines carry drinking water from Yosemite's Hetch Hetchy reservoir to the Bay Area, traversing parts of Riverbank and Modesto.

Rehab construction "would be ongoing and intermittent" through 2030, according to San Francisco's planning department.
