'LORD OF THE DANCE' The popular show continues with performances today at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Gallo Center for the Arts, 1000 I St., Modesto. Based on Irish folklore, the show centers on a battle between the good title character and the evil Don Dorcha, Lord of Darkness. The production features a cast of 40, a singer and fiddlers who perform to high-energy recorded music. COUNTRY FOLK ART CRAFT SHOW
Exhibitors from across the country will be selling their crafts at the Country Folk Art Craft Show today and Sunday at the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds, 900 N. Broadway, Turlock. Unique and creative home fashions and decorating accents are available, and parking is free. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $6.
