Michael Jackson was a pedophile who preyed on young boys. The greatness of his talent, his obvious contributions to the pop music culture or anything else that is positive about his life should not be allowed to overshadow the fact that he was a sick man who took advantage of children.

I am saddened to see that so many in our society find a way to close their eyes to this disgusting aspect of Jackson's life and contribute to the frenzy since his death. Some of Jackson's employees have verified that there were as many as 10 other abused boys who were never made public, but whose silence was bought through confidentiality agreements.

Kids who experience sexual abuse need to talk about that experience and I cannot imagine a worse fate than having your silence about being sexually abused purchased by your parents. To those who say, "but he was not convicted," may I suggest that you do some Internet research, which I believe will open your eyes to the reality that he was a pedophile.
