Fund-raiser dinner sets place of honor for nursery as hall of fame inductee

Dave Wilson Nursery will be inducted into the Stanislaus County Ag Hall of Fame at a dinner Thursday that will raise money for the planned Ag Science Center.

The nursery, founded in 1938 and now based east of Hickman, is one of the largest growers of deciduous fruit, nut and shade trees in California.

The 12th annual dinner will be at 6 p.m. at the Assyrian-American Civic Club in Turlock. Tickets are $125 per person or $1,250 for a table of 10.
