CCAA soccer at Stan State Friday

The 2009 California Collegiate Athletic Association soccer championships begin Friday at Warrior Stadium with Los Angeles State the No. 1 seed in both the men's and women's brackets.

In the women's tourney, No. 2 seed Cal State Dominguez Hills (13-7, 11-5) plays UC San Diego (14-5, 11-5) at 11 a.m. and Chico State (8-4-8, 6-3-8 CCAA) faces LA State at 1:30 p.m. The title match will be Sunday at 11:30 a.m.

The CSU San Bernardino men (15-4-1, 11-4-1) face Dominguez Hills (14-5-1, 11-4-1) at 4:30 p.m. followed by LA State (17-2-1 overall, 13-2-1 CCAA) vs. Sonoma State (13-3-4, 10-3-3) at 7 p.m.

The final match will be Sunday at 2 p.m.
