INFO: The Davis High School Future Farmers of America is hosting a drive-thru tri-tip dinner. Dinner includes sliced tri-tip, beans, roll and a drink. Dinners will be available in the student parking lot. Cost is $10 a plate. Proceeds benefit Davis High FFA.
DIABETES YOUTH SUPPORT PROGRAM

INFO: The Modesto Diabetes Youth Support Group is geared toward children, teens and families who live with diabetes. A diabetes nurse-educator will discuss sick-day management. Drinks will be provided.
TOYS FOR TOTS

INFO: Toys R Us and Babies R Us will hold a kickoff for the Marine Toys for Tots campaign. The Marines are collecting new unwrapped toys for needy children in Stanislaus County.

INFO: City Manager Roy Wasden will be the guest speaker. The dinner is jointly sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Stanislaus County and the Turlock American Association of University Women. Wasden will discuss current issues in Turlock and his vision of the city's future. The no-host dinner is open to the public. There will be a choice of three entrées at a cost of $20, including tax and gratuity. Reservations are not necessary. For more information, call 524-1698.
