TID expected to fill vacancy on its board today

The Turlock Irrigation District board of directors today is scheduled to choose one of 11 applicants seeking to fill the term of Division 1 Director Phillip Short, who died in September.

Chris Barth, Mike Brem, John Eisenhut, Rod Vilas and Anthony Walker submitted applications for the seat.

The board meets at 9 a.m. in the TID main office building, 333 E. Canal Drive.
