Dia De Los Muertos party on Monday

The Modesto Junior College MEChA Club will host a Day of the Dead celebration from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday featuring performances by Folklórico, Aztec dancers and vendors of handmade crafts.

Lunch, featuring either carne asada or tamales, will be available for $5.

The event, at Mary Stuart Rogers Student Center, 2201 Blue Gum Ave., is free and open to the public.
