Synopsis: Authorities say Navarro was shot in the early morning of hours July 5 as he stood in front of his home in the 600 block of Thrasher Avenue between Oregon Drive and Larkin Avenue. He died the following Wednesday.

Motivation: Unknown

Suspects: Detectives arrested 21-year-old Modesto resident David Garza on suspicion of murder and using a firearm to commit a felony, according to Modesto Police Department Sgt. Brian Findlen.
