Oakdale takes opening kickoff for TD, and rolls from there

MANTECA -- Devin Brooks returned the opening kickoff 88 yards for a TD to lead top-ranked Oakdale to a 55-14 victory over East Union on Friday night.

Brooks wasn't done after his big return, as he had an 83-yard TD run, pushing the score to 21-0.

Between Brooks' bookend TDs, fullback Tim House broke loose for a 38-yard TD run. House added two more TDs in the second quarter, each on 3-yard runs for a 34-0 lead.

Oakdale improved to 6-0, 3-0, while East Union fell to 2-4, 0-3.
