Go ahead, take your best shot in our Halloween photo contest

Is your house haunted? Do you deck your deck with ghosts and goblins? As Halloween approaches, we're asking readers to help us find the spookiest homes in the Modesto area.

We're interested in seeing how you decorate your home, indoors or outside, whether it's spooky pictures your little one has drawn and hang in your front window or an elaborate graveyard you and your teenagers have set up in the front yard. If you're proud of your skills in carving jack-o'-lanterns, submit of a photo of that.

Cute or scary, your digital images should be submitted by noon Monday, Nov. 2. (We're leaving entry open after Halloween to allow those of you who decorate that evening to take part.)

To enter, upload your photo using the form at www.modbee.com/topshot.

We'll have a random drawing to award a yet-to-be-determined prize to one lucky contestant. And we'll feature some of the photos in The Bee and on our Web sites.

All photos submitted become property of The Bee and may be used in the paper, on modbee.com or ModMomsClub.com. Sorry, we will accept only digital entries.
