The Modesto City Council on Tuesday is scheduled to vote on:

— Setting new speed limits on some city streets and putting up speed limit signs at a cost of $65 per sign. Speed limits on parts of El Vista Avenue, Floyd Avenue and Sylvan Avenue would be lowered.

— Awarding a $277,372 contract to Advanced Infrastructure Technologies of Gardena to buy one sewer inspection truck for the Public Works Department

— Approving an agreement with Barton's Overhead Door for the repair and maintenance of the Fire Department's bay door systems for an annual estimated cost of $25,000

— Approving one additional equipment operator at the compost facility for an annual estimated cost of $60,000 in salary and benefits

— Accepting a $19,080 state grant for overtime seat belt enforcement operations

— Approving a $48,873 agreement with Kimley-Horn and Associates of Stockton for design work on a project to enhance runway safety at Modesto's airport

— Approving a two-year contract with Boyett Petroleum of Modesto to provide fuel card-lock services for the Public Works Department at an estimated annual cost of $1,551,090
