What is the primary reason you are running for this office?

I would like this to be a distinguished district that offers everything academically and vocationally that similar districts in our area offer. Also, my son will be attending the district starting next school year.

What will be your single most important priority if you get elected?

I would like to see a content staff on all levels despite the economic instabilities. A staff where the board members, administration, teachers, and classified employees have mutual respect for one another, and can work toward the common goal of giving students the best education possible.

What sets you apart from the other candidates?

I was a teacher in this district for more than 12 years, and am already aware of the needs of our students and staff.

Where do you work and what is your job title? (If retired, list position before retirement)

I currently have an on-line business, and I substitute teach for the Sylvan Union School District. I lost my position last year due to budget cuts, but am hopeful to get it back next school year.
