Another tragic episode occurred early Saturday morning in a rather forgotten Turlock neighborhood. Once again, a serious and troubling issue in this area continues to be ignored by both city and county officials. The seeming willfulness of Turlock, and to a lesser extent Modesto officials to keep violence and social disorder away from the public eye is causing terrible repercussions within our small corner of the world.

Subscribing to religious faith and reasonable outcomes due to that faith is one thing, but to ignore the ills currently facing this area will bring even more dire consequences than a rain of fire and brimstone.

The old guard need to come down from their tower walls and allow a more perceptive, concerned and intelligent body to make decisions. Dearest readers, there is more happening in our area than most are aware.
