What office do you seek?

Ceres Unified School District Board, District 5.

What is the primary reason you are running for this office?

I have been serving on the CUSD Board for 1 year and 3 months as I was appointed back in June of 2008. I would like to continue as a Board Member to work in creating an atmosphere of devotion and as a crucial communication link between the schools, parents, staff, community and the Board. I believe that communication is the key to success. I would also like to continue seeing our community blossom and excel educationally through the improvement of our schools.

What will be your single most important priority if you get elected?

My single most important priority at this time is to maintain security in schools and a healthy growth in educational programs for our community through this economic crisis. I live to ensure that all students learn, grow knowledgeable, build on their skills and become confident citizens, capable of succeeding in their future work and their personal and family life.

What sets you apart from the other candidates?

I have attended a series of classes in “Masters of Governance” through the California School Board Association and will be graduating this October. Through these courses I have learned key techniques and points on how to best serve my community as a Board Member. I also have experience and knowledge as a Board Member. As a new Father, my interest in higher education in our community has grown exponentially and I intend on ensuring continued growth and improvement throughout Ceres schools.

I am a Doctor of Chiropractic and am currently in the process of opening my own practice.
