This is too dog-gone cute! The Stanislaus County Library has a program that encourages kids to read by having them read aloud to trained therapy dogs.
The free program is aimed at children ages 6 to 12, who are welcome to come to the library on Thursdsay afternoons through November.
On a recent afternoon, boys and girls read a variety of stories to a Pembroke Welsh corgi named Arthur, a Labrador retriever named Charlie and a border collie named Dutchess.
