Modesto -- Name: 19-year-old Ceres resident Mark Ochoa

Synopsis: Ochoa was one of two people killed Aug 31 in a shooting on the 2600 block of Maxine Drive. Police are calling the shooting gang-related. Modesto police conducted a nearly seven-hour manhunt for the four suspects in a northeast Modesto neighborhood the day of the shooting.

Motivation: Investigators say the shootings were gang-releated.

Suspects: Modesto residents Victor Zapien, 21, Eric Arguello, 18, and Ceres residents David Ferrel, 30, and Kelly Valle, 25. They are being held without bail at the Stanislaus County Jail. They were arraigned Sept. 2 but did not enter pleas.

Modesto police ask anyone with information about these shootings to call Crime Stoppers at 521-4636.
