Synopsis: A man was shot to death in a south Modesto neighborhood on July 29. The drive-by shooting took place in the 600 block of Broadway Avenue near Boulder Avenue
Motivation: Authorities say the shooting was gang-related but Schopp's brother says Alberto Schopp was not a gang member
Suspects: The Sheriff's Department arrested a 17-year-old boy in Ceres and Ulises carenas Sanchez, 19, and Rafael Lopez-Camacho, 22, in Modesto on July 30 on suspicion of murder. The teen was booked at Juvenile Hall and the two other suspects were being held without bail at the jail.
Authorities ask anyone with information about these shootings to call Detective Ken Hedrick at 525-7083.
