Workshop today for homeowners

Homeowners can meet with a housing counselor or their mortgage lender today during a homeownership preservation workshop at Atwater Community Center, 760 E. Bellevue Road.

The event is from 3 to 8 p.m. and sponsored by the city and the nonprofit No Homeowner Left Behind.

Department of Housing and Urban Development- approved housing counselors as well as representatives from Fannie Mae and J.P. Morgan Chase Bank (which includes the former Washington Mutual Bank) will be at the workshop.

Please bring your mortgage paperwork and information on your income and expenses.
