On The Money blogs live today from Modesto conference

Modesto Bee business editor David W. Hill will blog from the third annual Valley Real Estate & Economics Conference today.

This year’s daylong event is being held at the Gallo Center for the Arts in downtown Modesto.

The two keynote speakers are chief executive officers of successful Northern San Joaquin Valley companies: Fritz Grupe of The Grupe Co., a real estate development firm based in Stockton, and Dan Costa of 5.11 Tactical, a law enforcement clothing and accessories manufacturer in Modesto.

Save Mart Chief Executive Officer Bob Piccinini will be presented a lifetime achievement award.

Hill will post items on his “On The Money” blog throughout the day highlighting some of the key elements of presentations and speeches from valley economic and real estate professionals.
