So the Turlock City Council members have agreed in their infinite wisdom to pay the new city manager $202,000 annually; that's a sweet deal for someone "who has a lot to learn."
Meanwhile the council is still discussing turning off street lights on the west side and in older neighborhoods to supposedly save $158,000 a year.
The actions of the council just prove that they are as out of touch with reality as our state and national leaders are.
