MODESTO -- Name: Irvin Tefertiller

Synopsis: Modesto police says Irvin Tefertiller was driving a motorcycle on May 5 when a sport utility vehicle pulled into his path at El Vista and Haddon avenues. Police say the SUV continued for about a 100 feet before the driver got out and ran. A witness chased the driver and persuaded her to stop. The driver was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter, felony hit and run, and felony driving under the influence. She has pleaded not guilty.
