TURLOCK - Two students at California State University, Stanislaus, made good on their promise to create a You Tube video urging administrators to “save their classes,” with professors and union leaders doing the talking and Taylor Swift, Pink and The Dixie Chicks doing the singing.

Freshmen Amy Yingst and Laura Delano posted the video Tuesday, after the university slashed half its summer class schedule, from 130 classes last year to 65 this summer.

Students Devin Beggs, Daniel Niesess, and Jackson Leverone also created a “Save our classes” Facebook.com page, with nearly 450 members.
