Name: Moses Alvarado

Synopsis: Deputies responded to a shooting at the One-Stop Market on Grayson Road on March 16. Deputies located 19-year-old Alvarado in the parking lot. He was transported to a Modesto area hospital, but later died from his injuries. Detectives determined the shooting occurred along the San Joaquin River a few miles from the One-Stop Market. Detectives believe Alvarado went to the river with friends where they were involved in an altercation with five to six males. During the altercation, shots were fired and Alvarado was struck. His friends drove him to the One-Stop Market where they called for help. Alvarado was a resident of Grayson. Detective have limited suspect information, but are looking for a pewter-colored, late 1990s GMC Yukon with 22 inch wheels.
