SOULSBYVILLE — Authorities have released the names of a Sonora man and woman who died Monday afternoon in a crash on Highway 108 east of Barnwood Court.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Sheri D. Pratt was driving erratically in a Ford Bronco about 3 p.m.

Pratt, 63, crossed into oncoming traffic, according to the CHP, and struck a 2001 Subaru Outback, killing its driver.

Pratt struck a second vehicle, a 2006 Toyota Highlander, but its driver, Lenore Gray, 58, of Richmond, reported no injuries.

The Subaru's driver has been identified as Ronald Lancaster, 60.

Lancaster was pronounced dead at the scene.

Pratt was flown to Memorial Medical Center where she was pronounced dead, according to the CHP.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.

It will take four to six weeks to determine whether Pratt was intoxicated, based on blood test results, according to officer Tom Wills, CHP spokesman in Sonora.
